We have room for some new students for the Fall and we are holding a Parent Information Night on Arrowsmith – Thursday, June 19th from 7-9 pm – at our neighbour’s space (Bookmates) at 623 Erin St. (Please click here for flyer and some frequently asked questions.)
Our speaker is (Toronto) Arrowsmith’s Applications Manager Caylin Trudell – who we have been working with directly all year long. Caylin has year’s of experience teaching as well as administering the Arrowsmith Program at many sites as the “mothership” contact/director. Our Winnipeg Staff – LDA Manitoba Arrowsmith Coordinator Cher Benoit and Program Assistant Chantelle Holland will also be present, as well as some of the parents of returning students. This is a chance to get a deeper understanding of how the program will work for your child.
If you are considering registering your child or youth for the 2014 / 2015 program (September to June), please call me to sign up for the June information session.
Please note that we need a recent psycho-educational assessment to register a student for the fall. If you don’t have one there is still time to get one done. While the Arrowsmith program includes a comprehensive assessment as the basis of individualized programming, that occurs after full registration is complete. There are many benefits to having an assessment done. Feel free to call me if you would like more information on this mater.
