Dyspraxia
Problems with movement and coordination, language and speech
A disorder that is characterized by difficulty in muscle control, which causes problems with movement and coordination, language and speech, and can affect learning.
It primarily affects motor coordination and planning skills rather than directly impacting cognitive abilities related to academic learning.
Individuals with dyspraxia may experience challenges in educational settings due to difficulties with tasks requiring fine and gross motor skills.
These challenges may include handwriting, organization, and physical activities.
While dyspraxia is not considered a learning disability in the traditional sense, individuals with dyspraxia may benefit from additional support and accommodations in educational environments.
Although not a learning disability, Dyspraxia often exists along with Dyslexia, Dyscalculia or ADHD.
