Thank you, Winnipeg Foundation!
The Learning Disabilities Association of Manitoba (LDAM) is pleased to recognize the continued generous support of The Winnipeg Foundation.
As a not-for-profit organization, LDAM relies heavily on donations and grants to allow its programming and advocacy efforts to continue to have a meaningful impact on individuals living with learning disabilities and ADHD in Winnipeg.
Over the past year, The Winnipeg Foundation has provided more than $65,000 in grants to the Learning Disabilities Association of Manitoba.
“Words really can’t do justice to how grateful we are for The Winnipeg Foundation and its generosity,” says Karen Velthuys, executive director at LDAM. “It’s a simple fact that we would not have been able to do as much as we’ve done, help as many people as we’ve helped, without the incredible support of The Winnipeg Foundation.
“On behalf of myself and all of our staff and volunteers at LDAM; thank you.”
Donations and grants received by LDAM go directly to supporting programs like our Barton Reading Program, LEGO Club, FRIENDS Resilience Program, and Job-Fit program, as well as administrative needs like hiring staff and tutors.
